FALL RECREATIONAL
Welcome to Urban Dance Productions Fall Recreational Classes
2023-2024! We are looking forward to having you join the Urban Army. We are offering sessions from September through end of May for recreational classes in tap, ballet, jazz, creative movement, and hip hop! Dancers will be performing in our, end of the year, Chapter VIII Recital! Below are the classes and descriptions offered.
CREATIVE MOVEMENT (AGES 2-3)
Classes Begin Week of September 11th

Tuesday – 45 Minutes – 4:30 - 5:15 PM - $60 per month
1 Costume - $100 (First 1/2 due on October 1st &
Second 1/2 due on November 1st)

Creative Movement and Basic Tumbling led by Instructor. Props are used to help develop coordination and rhythm. It is a fun way to introduce young dancers to dancing and the routine of dance class, as toddlers work with maracas, scarves, tambourines, and more! Meets once per week.

Ballet shoes required for class and end of the year performance
TAP & BALLET
(AGES 4-5)
Classes Begin Week of September 11th

Tuesday – 45 Minutes – 5:15 - 6:00 PM - $60 per month
2 Costumes - $200 (First 1/2 due on October 1st &
Second 1/2 due on November 1st)

45 minute combination class of introductory Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and Basic Tumbling. This is the perfect class for preschool and kindergarten children wanting to give dancing a try or continue their dance education! Meets once per week.

TAP & JAZZ
(AGES 6-8)
Classes Begin Week of September 11th

Tuesday – 45 Minutes – 6:00 - 6:45 PM - $60 per month
2 Costumes - $200 (First 1/2 due on October 1st &
Second 1/2 due on November 1st)

45 minute combination class of Basic to Intermediate Tap and Jazz. This class is both educational and fun no matter your experience dancing; teachers help individualize instruction! Meets once per week.

BOY'S & GIRL'S HIP HOP
Classes Begin Week of September 11th

BOY'S HIP-HOP (AGES 5-8)
Wednesday – 45 Minutes – 4:30 - 5:15 PM - $60 per month​

GIRL'S HIP-HOP (AGES 5-8)
Wednesday – 45 Minutes – 5:15 - 6:00 PM - $60 per month

Second 1/2 due on November 1st)

​CO-ED HIP-HOP (AGES 9-12)
Wednesday – 45 Minutes – 6:00 - 6:45 PM - $60 per month

45 minute class to learn the latest trending Hip Hop moves to current, clean music. Dancers will learn fun combinations with Hip Hop skills incorporated into them! Meets once per week.

Sneakers required for class and end of the year performance (*Sneakers for end of the year performance are included into the costume fee)
