An introductory program designed to give dancers a glimpse into what it’s like to train as a company dancer and experience the expectations and energy of the Urban Army program.
Dancers will participate in both technical training and choreography-based classes, similar to what company dancers train in throughout the season.
In addition to dance training, dancers will begin developing the discipline, teamwork, and classroom expectations that are part of the company experience while building confidence as both a dancer and an artist.
This program is ideal for dancers who are interested in:
• Experiencing company-style training • Developing both technique and performance skills • Preparing for company auditions • Learning what it means to be part of the Urban Army
