SUMMER COMPANY
Welcome to Urban Dance Productions Summer Company Program!
We are looking forward to serving the White Bear community with classes and dance experiences for all ages while keeping the love for dance at the forefront.
This summer your dancer will refine their technique in small class settings, grow their artistry working with award-winning choreographers and faculty from all over the US, and receive individual training, opportunities, and education like nowhere else.

INTRO TO URBAN
JUNE 22ND - JUNE 25TH
An introductory program designed to give dancers a glimpse into what it’s like to train as a company dancer and experience the expectations and energy of the Urban Army program.
Dancers will participate in both technical training and choreography-based classes, similar to what company dancers train in throughout the season.
In addition to dance training, dancers will begin developing the discipline, teamwork, and classroom expectations that are part of the company experience while building confidence as both a dancer and an artist.
This program is ideal for dancers who are interested in:
• Experiencing company-style training
• Developing both technique and performance skills
• Preparing for company auditions
• Learning what it means to be part of the Urban Army

URBAN ARMY INTENSIVE
JULY 13TH - JULY 14TH
A high-energy training experience designed to develop versatile dancers through multiple styles, choreography, and performance training.
The Urban Army Intensive is a convention-style training experience where dancers participate in a variety of classes similar to those often experienced in convention and professional dance settings.
Dancers will have the opportunity to train with industry professionals in a motivating and rewarding dance environment while developing versatility, performance quality, and artistry.
Dancers that will be attending our 2026-2027 Company Auditions are REQUIRED to attend the Urban Army Intensive.

Elevate Technique Intensive
JULY 20TH - JULY 23RD
The Elevate Technique Intensive focuses on developing strong technical foundations through concentrated training.
Dancers will train in:

• Ballet Technique
• Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT)
• Turns and Pirouette Progressions
• Leaps and Jump Technique
• Strength and Flexibility
• Modern Movement
This intensive helps dancers develop stronger technique, improved control, and cleaner execution for the upcoming season.
Dancers that will be attending our 2026-2027 Company Auditions are REQUIRED to attend the Elevate Technique Intensive.

Chapter IX Company Audition Week
JULY 27TH - JULY 30TH
Are you interested in becoming a part of the Urban Army? Join us for Chapter IX and experience all of the fun and exciting things we have in store!
Our program provides a specialized and boutique experience, equipping dancers with the essential tools and fundamentals to develop their unique artistry within a team-oriented environment—all while staying true to our mission to "Create With Purpose."
Dancers and parents will come in during the week of auditions and book time to meet with our faculty and help build your dancers program for the 2026-2027 dance season.
